So I just got done with my ball joints a month ago and got an alignment and all seemed good till about a week ago. When I back up sometimes my front left brake will lock up. I had to remove the abs sensor when I did the ball joints an it looked rusty colored but it was fine before so I left it alone. Any idea what could cause this? Brake pads were fine and rotors are fine.

Full lock up, or just a pads dragging?

This guy had a similar problem and found the issue to be with the parking brake. Might be worth a read.

EDIT: Re read your post and realized you said FRONT brake. Whoops.

Have you looked at it? Did a bolt fall out of the caliper?

My issue was with the parking brake. No issues with the front brakes.

Oops...didn't read your edit

No brake fluid leaking or on pads, I've never had to stop really hard or anything like that so rotor should be good, I'm not to sure on how to check for a bad wheel bearing unless you jack it up and try to move the wheel around but I will have to wait a few days till I'm back in wv with my tools. No missing bolts on the caliper and all I did was take the two main bolt that hold it on the splindle off and the abs sensor so that should not change how it functions. I don't even know how to go about checking my caliper out I just know it was working fine and now something is messing up
