Hey fella's, sorry for the bump I know it's an old thread but I recieved my package today and was not very happy.

First of all I was under the impression that I had ordered both the headlight and taillight covers. Reason being...this is what my order confirmation read:

2009 to 2014 Dodge Ram GTS-GT4176 1 69.95 APPLICATIONS: = 2011-2014 RAM 1500headlight coversblackouts GTS GT0767s:2009-2014 Ram taillightcoversSubtotal 69.95

As you can see it clearly says both "headlight" and "taillight"
Well I only got taillight covers, plus I paid an additional $40 to ship to Canada. When I emailed Tracy at Spider Performance I basically got a "is for reference only. We cannot help this as this is the way Yahoo makes up the pages." Which to me translates to you're **** out of luck.

Anyway...what this all comes down to is, will the blackout covers for the quad headlights fit on stock projector headlights? I already know I'm ordering again and I can live with that, I just want to make sure they're gonna fit when they get here.

p.s. the reason I don't want to paint is i would like to have the option to remove them if required. ie massive snow storms etc.

From what i can tell the only difference is a small bulge where the projector sits behind the cover. It's pretty minimal though so i'm considering ordering the covers anyway and just attaching with 3M tape. The 5mm of clearance might be enough....but i don't know.

If it doesn't fit i could always sell the covers. But it would be nice if they just made a set of covers to fit the projectors.

Somebody mentioned the light output. I have the HID kit from retro shop sitting on my work bench. I'll be installing the kit the same time as the covers.

I'd like to get these covers, but I got pulled over a few months ago and the cop threatened to issue a ticket for a CLEAR plastic cover over my rear license plate!!!! And the only reason I have a plate cover is because someone stole the insurance renewal stickers off my plates a few months earlier!!! Cop told me to remove the plate cover when I got home so something tells me these light covers wouldn't fly around here..... but they look cool for sure.

I have tinted ones on my truck and I've been pulled over many times and they haven't even mentioned it. Pretty sure they are legal as long as they don't prevent red light cameras from being able to get your plates.

Bring it on i got tinted fronts too. Answer to that is roll the windows down for 5 seconds when passing piggies
