Yeah, that's what I paid for mine. The basic Hemi kit was like $2,900, then they came out with a Ram 4th gen specific kit that mounts on the passenger side and bumped it up to $3,200

So the 4th gen kit has everything besides fuel and intercooler? So no custom mounts?

I wish... Go back and read my first post, had to do a lot of custom tweaks to get it all setup. Nothing awful, the only brackets I made were with simple angle and straight aluminum pieces and a bench vice/angle grinder.

How has the reliability been? Would you recommend this with a daily driver 2016 2500 with the 5.7? I also tow a 9000 pound camper in the mountains in Colorado a few times a year. I put 4.56 gears in my truck so rpm’s would be higher. I got a quote for a procharger kit installed it was almost 11 grand which is too steep for me. I have to do more custom things on my truck since there are no kits for the 2500 with a 5.7.

Damn... 11 Grand!

Good article here on choosing a supercharger for the right application:

https://www.superchargerforums.com/threads/how-to-pick-the-right-supercharger.696/

So I'm far from the expert on these trucks I've only got my experience to draw from, the install I went through is pretty custom and will require you to do a lot of the work yourself, or at least find a good wrench turner/shade-tree mechanic to help out if you're not able to do the work, and it took me a couple of weeks almost months getting all the pieces and parts assembled and you will absolutely have to have a good tuner to work with (I'd recommend Shawn/Hemifever). Fortunately, we have lots of options out there and a fantastic community to draw from. If that's not daunting to you then yes, the setup I have is great and I'm a fan of the torqstorm.

With the gearing you have I'd imagine you'll be into at least a pound of two of boost (probably 2) during normal highway cruising. I would absolutely not skimp on installing an intercooler, you can run these kits without them but with the heavy load you're going to run you'll want one for that heavy truck.

However, reading through various posts and talking to people I know who have run either PD or Centrifugal superchargers, the prevailing wisdom out there seems to point at a PD blower like the Whipple being a better solution for towing on a gas engine to produce more torq at the low end while towing. Installing a Whipple in our trucks seems to be more straightforward also, and would give you a more 'sellable' truck later I think, and it's probably and easier install with all the parts/pieces you need in one convenient package.

For daily driving since installing my SC I've put about 10K miles on truck and I like it more than ever and haven't had a single issue. I'm about ready to change the internal SC oil on the torqstorm (10K service item), and it'll be somewhat of a pain because you have to pull the power unit to do it, so another negative, but there's no external piping/oil lines to mess with (positive).

So your mileage may vary but there's my two cents!

Here's some of the specialty stuff I had to order, the extra silicone elbows/bungs/guages and plumbing I can add if folks want it

-Treadstone TR1035 Intercooler $315

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MT3N6Q1/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

-Kenne Bell BAP $280 (wasted some money $200 trying to retrofit a DW400 pump into the stock basket and ruined a fuel pump setup, making me buy another stock unit @ $180 before just going with the damn BAP)

https://lmr.com/item/KB-89069/Kenne-Bell-Boost-A-Pump-Single-40amp

-Siemens 840 cc/min, 80 lbs/hr Fuel Injectors (I know, too big, but Jay likes them and you can really dial them back I think hellcat or 650 cc injectors would have been fine...-$600)

-Intercooler piping aluminum generic kit $108 Only used 1/4 of the pipes and had to buy two more silicone elbows

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074K96W5X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=12

-Aluminum to make brackets for Intercooler

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VJ3QC88/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

-3 bar MAP sensor-$45 (you have to do a bit of modification to get it to fit)

https://www.highhorseperformance.co...sor_All_SRT_8_Models_05149056_p/5149056aa.htm

-Threaded IAT sensor-$27

Hi there,

Do you remember if this IAT senor is 1/4" or 1/8"? I purchased this sensor and the coupler in your pictures and the IAT sensor is too large for the pre-installed **** on the mishimoto coupler.

When I change oil in my ProCharger head unit, I have a big ol plastic syringe to suck the old oil out. I got the syringe from Amazon, I think. Probably takes 5 minutes to do once you have the stuff rounded up.

Hey there, it was a 1/4" screw in ****. My IAT readings with the treadstone average about 100-110 on an 80-85 degree day, normally see about 15-20 degrees above ambient.
