well i bought my 07 mega diesel a month ago and i went to use the 4wd for the first time and it wasnt working!!!! i was told it worked fine! so i went into the dodger dealer in my town (i bought it out of town) to get it looked at for warrenty and heres what they came up with....front ball joint had almost 1 inch of play, front axle U-joints shot, rear shocks blown, P/S pump ****** and 4wd switch fried....i knew about the shocks and p/s, so i called up the dealer where i bought it and told them about it and they wanted to me to drive it down 2 hours on the hwy with my family in a possible unsafe vehical ( the dealer where they looked at it said it was unsafe to drive and wouldnt let us take it off the lot, well highly recommended it) so i freak at the general manager when he told me to drive it down just so he could look at it! because he didnt believe the technician who looked at it.....i told him i was calling the VSA (vehical sales authority) on him, then he saidd he would fix the 4x4 but not the safty issue....so to wrap this up the manager from the other dealership drove down and picked up my truck and fixed my 4wd and nothing else, so my truck is going back into the shop(in my town) to get the rest of the warrenty work done! Grrrrrrrrrrr, sorry for the lengthy message i went thru 2 full days battling this on the phone and in person to get my truck 1/4 fixed.

Ditto there. That really blows. But ya know it could have been worse they could have closed up after ya bought the truck. Had that happen before not a fun matter. Hope it all gets sorted out for you and stay safe in that beast.

thanks guys! well VSA has the authority to actually shut down that dealership if they find enuff crooked stuff or fire anyone or make them fix my truck for free that dealer IS going to fix everthing wrong with my truck for free and hopefully more too hahah, but saftey is no joke and i still cant beilieve he told me to drive a possible unsafe vehicle with my family! the guy at VSA started laughing and said what a joke! so there really interested in the dealership now so there gunna digg deep and snoop NO body messes with my family and gets away!

I don't think it would be worth his time and money to take them to court. It sounds like everything will be fixed. Just at different times, by 2 different dealers.

I feel your fustration with this, but you need to assume some rresponsibility. I know before I cut a check for a truck like that I would have gone over that bad boy stem to stern.
