I had a rad leak on the lower right side. Mechanic told me my rad was cracked and needed a new one. I bought a new rad heScreenshot_20260507_083509_Messages.jpg installed it ( he is trusted) but I still have minor coolant leaking in the same spot. What's going on? The video is from before the new rad.

The video doesn't play. However, replaced rad, leak still there. Are you sure it was the rad in the first place? You paid good money for the fix, take it back to your trusted mechanic and get him to fix it right. Clearly he missed something.

That is the plan. He will be checking it again. And yes, he said it was the rad

It was very clear to me that the mechanic told you it was the rad, however the question remains, if you still have the same leak, then he might well have been wrong and the actual fix was a lot cheaper and easier. Or the rad may have been pooched and he just didn't tighten a hose right. You will never know now unless you closely examined the old rad and could see where it was leaking.
