Seems like there should be plenty to put a foot on without slipping off . The ol knees aint what they used to be and momma pie can trip over a chaulkline on a sidewalk so I figured I better get some that are plenty big enough to actually work for us old folks .

One of the 1st things that I did when I bought the truck was add 5" side steps. For us a necessary mod.

Congrats, even on my 17 RCSB, 2 wheel drive, I had to get steps for my wife and mom. I tried it without for 3 months, and ended up going with 4" westin tubulars. Glad I did. Makes it a lot easier for me to get in, also, and I'm 6'4".
