Have to reset the computer to get my a/c too work

I recently purchased an 09 ram 1500 with the 5.7 hemi and occasionally the a/c quits and I have to unhook the battery to reset it The truck has an aftermarket radio and the dash says radio off?? Hooked to the computer and it’s not showing any a/c codes any help would be appreciated
