This sort of reminds me of when ABS was first put in some brands of SEMI TRUCKS.

Down here in San Diego & i would also think other California Counties.

After several unexplainable accidents involving semi trucks,
They did major studies on possible causes.

Part of these tests were conducted using both
WET & DRY Skid Tests as part of the Elimination Checks

I know that we had the World's Major Automotive Companies involved.
They had the Highway Patrol there too.

At one of the Testing sites, it was discovered that Radio Frequency was the fault.
It seems that a large part of the Semi Trucks Brakes Locking up, happened when someone used a Mobile Radio to broadcast.

The funniest part was that it happened when a CHP keyed up the the FM radio during a test.

My only reason for being there, was to drive a Water Truck & Tank Trailer around the Asphalt Parking Lot for the Wet Tests

Just got our notification in USPS today! No remedy available yet! Glad to see this recall, just started having the warning/service ABS this past Fall. Was dreading taking to dealership.

I would worry about the dealers quietly performing the emissions recall when people take their trucks in for the HCU recall.

I posted about that already in another thread. A dummy plug from the jungle site in the stock location will throw them off.
It seems like they're really wanting to get me in though.
Recalls for wheel studs, side curtain airbags, Emmissions reflash, and this. Never had the ABS problem though on my or father's trucks. Yet.

Stellantis does not have a workable HCU replacement and NO ETA...
