Tossing this kit around again (because why leave anything alone [emoji23])

https://www.suspensionconnection.com/33119-ram-3500.html

Question, will it be good with just the shock extensions? Or go with their own branded replacement shocks? Or go with Fox replacement shocks???

Shouldn’t look to funky on my truck, I’m already running 35’s (285/75/18 duratracs which have the fenders pretty full as it sits stock)

I do pull trailers so I don’t want to get too high of a lift and have to run a huge drop and/or affect pulling the trailer too badly

I would look at Thuren Coils. 350 for front coils and Overland Shocks are 145.00. Much better system.

I think I looked at his site before, he just offers a front leveling kit. Or big kits iirc? Nothing that’s like a 3/1 lift?

Is your truck a 2500 or 3500?

I'm running a 2.3" level in the front and a 1" block in the rear on my truck with 285/75-18's. Not sure what kind of trailer you tow but I wouldn't go much more then that if you tow often. I am also not a fan of shock extensions personally. I'm sure they will work but I don't like half azzing things and having another variable in the suspension chain.

Gotcha, just saw 6.4 hemi in your signature and that didn't seem right for a 3500

.

I had a 6.4 hemi 3500 prior to this truck (my profile pic is actually it, lol)

I would not use that kit. 3” spacer with no bump-stop extension? That dosnt sound like a good idea to me. Shock extension sound like a bad idea too without a bump-stop extension/spacer.

Thurens front springs offer either 1.5” or 2.5” of lift on a 3500 hemi. I personally would go that route with his shocks. Then, if you need a rear spacer you could add one. I dont think he has rear leafs yet for the radius arm trucks.

I have the 6.7 Cummins, never got around to updating my profile info (forgot it said that I had a 15 hemi, aka my old truck) guess I’m gonna have to start saving up more. That kit thurem is like $2200 plus installation... just a tiny bit more then that tuff country kit [emoji23]

It's not very hard to install yourself. Just a good floor jack and stands along with some tools. There is some good information on this site for install. Also information regarding spec's for install on the Thuren Site.

Yea, just a wee bit more money.... but WAAAY more performace.

In all honesty, though, if you dont mind the ride of your truck now and are not looking for any improvement, that spacer kit will work just fine. I would just be hesitant using the shock extensions. I would also think bump stop drops would be needed.
