HD rear shocks

2003, 2500 with factory HD Towing package...I bought a set of Bilstein B6 4600, #24-186087 HD shocks for the rear of the truck and they are not stiff enough, they bounce over bumps. They allow about 3 to 5 inches of travel when I jump on the bumper.
I am pretty much at my wits end and will appreciate a few reccommendations.

Are you referring to the shocks damping ..... going through it's travel to rapidly?
Might be time for an adjustable shock like the Rancho 9000XL, little pricey but get great reviews.
I have Rancho shocks on several vehicles and will continue to run them.

They just do not have a strong stopping point. They allow me to bounce the back of the truck, not off the ground but just a steady up and down. I will take a look at the Rancho’s, thanks.

Replaced the Bilsteins, with a competitor (red and black), hugh difference.
