Head gasket - Local Garage?

2019 Ram, leaking head gasket, driver's side, against the firewall.

Does anyone know of a reputable garage in the Reading, PA (even Harrisburg/Allentown) area that could handle a head gasket replacement? My guy won't touch it, rather not take it to a dealer as I might want cam/lifters done while in there (have one that hangs every now and again).

^This. Quick_Shifter has a really nice shop called AK Trucks, located in or very near Marcus Hook, PA, just south of Philly.

Fair warning though - once you go to him you likely will not want to go anywhere else. One of the forum users goes there from Virginia.

Truer words never spoken, I recently had go to a local- family recommended- mechanic for a water pump.
I wasn’t sure it would make the trip to get to @Quick_Shifter’s shop, it’s the only reason I went local.
Installation seems good, no problems, but left a big mess of antifreeze all over the engine compartment.

Not a huge deal, but as I was cleaning it up, I kept thinking Quick_Shifter would never leave a mess like that, pride in your work and the fit and finish makes all the difference to me.

We would honestly just put a motor in it. It’s not worth doing a head gasket if you already have lifter issues. And the money is so close to being the same. Our engines are OEM 3 year 100,000 mile warranty at any dodge dealer

I just have one that ticks on a long sit (months) cold start...it has 55k miles on it. Drive it weekly, there is no issue.
