Yeah I’m getting remanufactured head built right now so everything in them will be brand new. What are the gains in the newer 4.7 compared to the pre 08+?
from what I have read cams alone are from 20 to 35 hp gains. Remember i read that. Mine feel a lot peppier than the stock. But i added a HO intake, headers high flow cats and a flow master super 44. And man do that have a nice "thump" to them coming out of that flowmaster

Nice! Since I have the 08 was there much of a difference in manifolds between mine and the HO manifolds? I see everybody is trying to get my intake manifold for their older version 4.7

My cams came from a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee HO. It was the last year that these particular cams were made. From what I understand my intake was a one year only that came from a 2002 Grand Cherokee HO 4.7

I'm not sure what trucks came with the 4.7 H.O, but they were in available in the 2002-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee in the Overland, Limited, and Freedom trims. Overlands and Freedoms are hard-ish to find but Limiteds are somewhat common. They came with a badge on them that said "4.7L H.O." on the rear hatch. If you have a LKQ pick your part or a pick-n-pull near you, check their inventory on their website.
