Head Studs Upgrade

I’m curious if upgrading the Head Studs is a suggestion or a necessity on a Cummings Turbo Diesel. Seems there’s a few videos on YT suggesting the upgrade.

Thoughts?

If you plan on adding hp or towing a lot it's probably a good idea. Not a necessity. Although people have blown head gaskets just daily driving. But it could of just been a bad gasket or not totally telling the truth. For piece of mind if you have the means to do it, it can't hurt.

If I were going to run higher PSI through the turbo than stock then I would consider it, but if it is stock just leave it be. That being said, it is a simple job if you want to blow the money on those head studs.
