I noticed a water line along the rear headliner the other day and it was soaking wet! The dealer is looking at it to determine next steps. I think I'll have them re-do the rear brakes that still make noise when backing up and have been replaced once and they can fix the driver side visor that's about to fall off! Oh, just at 15k miles too. Not happy.

Third brake light leak? Or sunroof maybe, if the truck has one

Is this a 2019 new body style or a 2019 Classic?

you think after all the 4th gens having 3rd brake light issues, they would fix that on 5th gens....:(

Thats why I asked if it was a classic or not. I would be very surprised (even for FCA) if the 5th gen third brake light is still a sieve.

Bummer! I replaced the 3rd brake light bulbs with LED's and everything looked watertight. I've seen the fix for rear brake noise and it's a clamp around the axle connected to the brake caliper via a bracket. I personally wouldn't want that set up but if your brakes are loud enough it may be the best option.

That's what they said that they have been getting some bad ones in that leaked also. Me I don't think that they know where it's leaking at.

Yeah they just txted me and said after installing new 3rd brake light it was still leaking. Now they're going to pull the headliner and see if they can see where it's leaking from lol. Hope they don't break anything while they're pulling all the plastic parts

My 2019 is at the dealership trying to figure out if its the third brake light or the satellite antenna. Needless to say, my headliner is a mess.

Parts are ordered and will be here next week. I asked the supervisor about the water stain in the headliner and he says oh if we have to replace that it's a big deal, we have to pull the windshield and re calibrate the mirror.... that's not my problem I told him! We will see how it turns out.

Tell them to pull it down enough to check the rear window frame. That's what they did with mine and found it.

As I backed out of my driveway a couple of weeks ago after a rain event, I saw water drip down from the headliner directly beneath where the high mount brake light is located. Had that happen once before and tightened the screws that hold it in and it stopped for a while. When it happened this time I ordered a light from eBay, with LED for about $24.00, plus free shipping. The gasket that came with it is a lot thicker than the one from the factory, and one other thing I noticed is that there are gaskets around the screws, might want to check them.

I bought this tstuff at Lowes: 10-ft Black Rubber Marine Automotive Weatherstrip
Item #: 161713 Model #: 01033
Good stuff to reseal the 3rd brake light.
The brake material on my rear outside left brake pad came right the backing plate off at highways speeds and I lost brakes. (~22k miles)
Doing so also trashed the rotor.
I had to replace brakes and rotors because of it.
I'd say there would have been over 1/2 material left and another 22k could have been driven if that didn't happen.
