I ordered a set of long tubes the other night and was wondering how hard they're gonna be to install on a stock mid pipe.

None of the stock stuff will work for you, or might be wrong as you are 2wd so not to sure on that.

From whati found while i was looming at longtubes is that stock y pipe won't work and that you'll have front ds problems. Being as you're truck is 2wd pipe routing is the biggest problem.

If you for pacesetter what I've read about blow outs is that you need a different gasket and better bolts

Ok so long story short, I'm gonna need a new y-pipe? And what do you mean front ds problems? I'm wanting to do true duals all the way back to the axle. So I'm probably looking at a shiny penny in other words.

If you are going true duals no need for a Y pipe is there, run them straight back. Or do as Rowdyram has suggested.

Ok, the best spot for an X pipe is closer to the headers right? Is so, these long tubes are going to be a pita!
