So I finally got the headers back from being coated. Like a work of art. He coated inside and out so these things will not only flow great but will probably outlast the truck. Now to get some free time to install them.
It all depends. Shortys vs mids vs long tubes....all are an improvement over stock. but depending on engine, and what ur trying to get out of ur truck will decide gains[/B]
And to those asking, shorty headers are a direct bolt on mod that will fit directly to your factory Y-pipe. No cutting or welding involved with shorties.
Just curious, but why didnt you just get them coated from BBK? I know you got a friend price, but they only charge an extra $100 for their ceramic coating.
I know and I thought about getting those but it really just boils down to one of those "I trust my guy" kinda things. Plus I wasn't sure that the factory dose a complete coating on the inside like he does.
