headlights not working.

I was recently hit by a deer and my headlight lens on my 20 Powerwagon was broken. The headlights worked for a while with the broken lens, but now the light is out. The whole headlight assy is on nationwide back order. Why would the lights not work just because the headlight plastic lens is cracked. Moisture? Any help on this would be appreciated.

I would guess moisture could play a factor. Have you thought about an aftermarket set to get you buy until you can get the correct light?

Yes, The deer jumped a deep bar ditch into the front of my powerwagon. We watched it all happen in slow mo....
