I have a ticking sound coming from my engine area, i don’t think it’s the hemi tick( I could be wrong) it sounds like A Bicycle’s tick I don’t hear it while idle ing and I can hear it from 40 down to 0 it goes away if I give it gas or break but only if I give a decent about of gas.

It escapes me right now but this has happened here recently and it wasnt hemi tick. I'd try a search, I think it was even described as bicycle tick, so search that on the forum. Probably 4 gen, possibly 5 gen, it wasnt earlier. Rule out simple stuff like plastic parts or heat shields and stuff in engine bay. It will do it in park?

It could be you're hearing the injectors firing. They have a lot of pressure on them, and they do make a ticking sound.

What’s confusing me more is it changes the exhaust note dice I did a muffler delete it’s more noticeable.

I also noticed that there is a ticking sound now and then. Did you find the solution?

If only when first started for a few seconds , that points toward exhaust manifolds warped and broken bolts. If it’s constantly ticking that leans towards lifters and camshaft . This site has a search function that has tons of information available, I highly recommend you find this as it can help find an answer to lots of things Ram related .

I had it too, no idea where it is coming from. Now i stopper having it, but that doesn't mean it is not there, cause my hearing test online showed pretty bad results and looks like i started to experience a hearing loss already. All what is left for me to do - enjoy the fact that i don't hear ticking sounds in my car anymore.
