Hit the start button 2 times that will put it in run mode but not actually running. Plug obd reader in which is under the dash below the steering wheel

Oh it wont give the code with out a reader? The old trucks you turned the key 3 times and it would show the code.

If it's not too late go to your local auto parts store. Most will read your code for free. Also Walmart has a code reader for about $40.

First, try to reset the PCM. Pull the negative battery cable and let the truck sit for 30 minutes. Then reconnect the cable and see if the code cleared.

Out of curiosity, wouldn't you want to check the code prior to clearing?

Leaving on a trip at 3AM and I got and email

Holy Crap... these trucks are so high-tech they send out emails??? So, what happens when you need to reboot the truck and you're in the fast lane at rush hour?? I thought my 2014 was over the top "techie". At least it isn't emailing me @ 3AM!!
