I was replacing my noisy blower motor today and noticed this connector hanging loose.
It is on the passenger side front kick panel. Anyone have any ideas what it goes to? Usually if a connector isn't used it is plugged into some sort of dummy plug and not just hanging loose? I'm guessing some sort of courtesy light or something? Couldn't find any open plugs in that area.

Yep, that for the footwell courtesy light. I just added those a couple of days ago.

Does anyone have a picture of the light and where it is located?
Thanks,

Its going to be hilarious when someone buys my old truck and joins the forum. As many connectors as i have added when I added the full stereo setup, lights, heated cooled seats and such.

As for that, its for a tiny light.

Do you happen to have a part number for that light? Can't seem to find it on any parts diagram an trying to find out where it is and what it looks like

.

The Jeep ones are exactly the same.

I did the jeep ones. There is a spot for both kinds. The advantage of using the pod style is that they can be customized to the color light bulb you desire. They are brighter also. Especially if you add the 194 style LED bulb. Cheaper too.

I ordered mine through Steve White Dodge website. They were $22.88 shipped for both sides and they came with bulbs. Not LED, but just regular 194.

My part number was 68395784AA
