I just bought a 2014 Ram Big Horn 1500. The front is exactly 2 1/2" lower than the rear. I want to raise the front and not sure which way to go. Need some advice! Should I use Hellbent spacers or Bilstein 5100 shocks? If I use the spacer , are they a true 2" or 2 1/2" lift? What size should I use? I intend to keep the stock 20" tires.

I would stay away from spacers, and go with some kind of an adjustable shock/strut assembly, beware though bilsteins are on back order till at least May now, up until last week it was April but Bilstein changed it again.

I just ordered the Billsteins. I hope I made the right decision. They had them in stock at autoanything.com. He said they were the same part number as a 2013

So with the Bilstein's do you go both front and rear or just front?

If you want a level and a real improved ride over factory, you just need to front 5100 shocks. Back shock replacements are less necessary, I didn't bother to change mine.

Have heard a few stories about people having issues with ball joints when levelling the 14's. I'm gonna wait for a bit before I level mine.

Heard a couple of guys had their ball joints come apart putting the shocks in. Mind you maybe you can have the dealership put them in for you. Maybe there's a trick to it. You never know with Chrysler
