Hi I hope someone can help. 2017 ram 3500. Fob stuck in the ignition. I tried to start it with low batteries. It just locked. Says key in ignition. Yep its there. I can’t move the shift lever. Windows and wiper won’t work. Lights and accessory outlets work. Charged the batteries. And checked the fuses in fuse box. Is there a hidden fuse or ground wire I need to check? Update: I lucked out. I tried to get the ignition switch out but the fob would not allow me to remove the trim panel. I wanted to at least stop the chimming noise so it disconnected a large firewall connector under the steering wheel. The noise went away. After checking a few things I connected it back and some of the things came back on. I disconnected it and reconnected it and now I was able to get my key out and even was able to start and drive it. I had previously disconnected the batteries overnight so I don’t know what corrected itself. Hope it doesn’t happen again, getting new batteries.
