New to forum. Hope this is posted in right spot. I have a 2016 1500 Tradesman. Iam having problems with the gearshift interlock solenoid. Have a new one to replace it but am not sure where it is located. I believe it is attached to the electronic shifter knob but cannot find any info regarding it. I don't want to do any extra teardown cause it is hard for me to get around but I do have some knowledge about repairing vehicles. Can someone tell me that I am correct or if wrong where it is located. New part is a Dorman 924-985. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
