I need help . 2016 ram 1500 sport no power to shifter . Screen says shift to P to choose desire gear but, shift knob has no power . Truck starts and battery is good , all fuses are good , bought new shift assembly and still nothing . No power to shifter . Any help i appreciate it !!

You might try a reset. Disconnect the battery for an hour or so.

What trans? Did you scan for any codes?

As stated above you need to check for power at the shifter. Don't take this wrong as I'm just trying to give advice, but a little trouble-shooting is recommended before randomly throwing parts at it. From my experience when something like this happens at least half the time it's a bad or broken wire, loose connector, corrosion in a connector, etc... Get a cheap multimeter and do some quick YouTube searching on how to use it (pretty easy) and a little research on checking for this issue. There is a decent chance of having a YouTube video of somebody diagnosing this issue. A wiring diagram can show you which points that need checked.
A decent OBD scan tool that shows data (it doesn't have to be any exotic or expensive version) can be helpful. For example many can show what the ECM is reading on the shifter.

As previously mentioned, scan for codes, because that might provide more hints.

The electronic shift module (ESM) receives B+ power from the PDC, and CAN bus +/- signals from the transmission control module (TCM) & a CAN bus Star connector. Don't forget to check the TCM connector at the transmission.
