Hello everyone new here and new to the Dodge family.I have a 2003 2500 2 wheel 5.7 with issues. this truck wont run with out throttle 3/4 down and feathering it has new plugs, 2 coil packs, crank and cam sensor and only a 02 sensor code, a friend put it on a scanner and it said cam not in synch,this was before the sensors am I missing something?Could 02 sensor cuse all this?

Did you check the plug on the throttle body. I know (i have a 4.7 tho) in mine the plug was loose and it drove exactly how you are describing.

Yeah, that's what i meant.

A defective O2 sensor won't set a sync code. The fact that the truck is running like crap is probably what's setting the O2 code. The sync code and running condition makes me think it may have jumped time.

Pulled compression check cylinder on pass. side, back ,broken valve spring, bent valve.Pulled head piston looked good.Now the million dollar question should I replace all springs while i have it apart should i do the other head,timing chain where do you stop?150,000 miles anyone experience this?
