Just bought a 2020 Rebel with the 5.7 Hemi with eTorque. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this motor and a K&N drop in air filter? Good ,bad ,or indifferent! Let us all know your opinion!

Green filters or afe dry flow filters seem to be the more popular choices lately. I actually stuck with paper myself. If I have to swap it every 10-20,000 miles than oh well. It doesn’t cost me enough. I had a reusable filter for a while with a cold air intake but decided I didn’t like it

If it works as well as their other filters, then it's a POS.

I used one on my 2020. It is supposed to allow for greater airflow but how much is anyone's guess. However, Seeing the disappointment on the face of the oil change tech when he realizes they can't try to rip you off with their overpriced air filters is worth every penny. Even have one for the cabin air :D

My suggestion is to just go with paper air filters and change them when needed. The stock CAI flows quite well with OEM type filters. Even if there is less restriction with a K&N (at the cost of filtration effectiveness?), the engine doesn't need more air flow if everything else is stock.
