I suppose I should get projectors. I was looking for a cheap mod that'll change the look and color of my headlights. Until I get projectors, what do y'all recommend?

No doubt I am showing my ignorance here, but... if you put hid in just your high beam in the quad, how would that blind more than high beam? Your supposed to dim your lights, can get a ticket for that also.

I've seen the pictures of the cutt off, output, etc. Anybody have first hand experience with the drop in kit vs the FXR swap? Trying to decide if its worth the extra $$$

For all of you that have installed HID kits - has anyone experienced radio interference after doing the upgrade? I tried HID's in my 2015 Ford Fusion and the radio was no longer usable when the headlights were on, there was so much static. And that was on FM. I tried ferrite beads on the wires, foil wrapping the wires, foil wrapping the ballast - nothing helped. I had to take them out and return them.

I do not have issues with the radio. I have a 2015 and installed a morimoto HID kit.

X 3 here.
Also, don't go the LED route either. Same blinding result in reflector housings. While you'll get the color you're probably looking for, oncoming traffic will hate you.

HID in a high beam is pointless unless you spend allot of time with you high beams on.

HID take time to "warm up" in order to get to full output, they also don't like to be turned on and off quickly.

You want a brighter high beam look into LED or higher output halogen.
