Dump the crappy water based coolant and use Evan's. It's the best period.

Ram didn't start using OAT coolant till 2013, most likely your 2005 uses a HOAT coolant, DO NOT MIX the two types as it will gel up in your coolant system.Okay I have read everything in this post and I'm still slightly confused I have a 2005 Ram with the 5.7 hemi which is the proper coolant I need to put in that truck

Both Ford and GM have OAT coolants that are orange which is the color of the Mopar HOAT coolant.Do not mix the different types, and be aware that “color” is not a fool-proof method of determining type. Some mfr’s do not conform to any standard of color.
Both of those are OAT one is concentrated the other is NotOkay I have read everything in this post and I'm still slightly confused I have a 2005 Ram with the 5.7 hemi which is the proper coolant I need to put in that truck
