I have the 'horn on lock' set to 'off' in the evic, but it's been honking at me every time I lock or unlock the doors and whenever I open the drivers door after I get out after driving it.

That usually means there is something it doesn't like, so I checked both doors, the parking break, tailgate and lights and I still can't figure out what it's problem is. Any other ideas?

It's a 2016 Express.

I had the same problem with this oddly annoying honking sound all the time. Ended up realizing that it was actually my wife complaining about something.

LOL!

I vaguely remember from 5 years ago that the aftermarket ignition kill switch security thingy was doing that. It must have bee re-set somehow.
