I found a premium cluster for my 2014 Ram 1500 express Hemi 8 speed but the cluster is coming out of a 2013 Ram 1500 v6 6 speed, will everything still function as it should even though it’s coming out of a v6 6 speed and going into a hemi 8 speed?

Yes. Although the v6 is also an 8-speed. I have a 2013 cluster from s Hemi in my 3.6L Pentastar.

Yes it will work with no issues as long as its out of a gas vehicle. It doesn't matter if it's out of a V6 or V8 or wether it's an 8 speed truck or a 6 speed truck. I've had a 2013 cluster in my 2014 express for years and it works great.

The TPMS is different on a 13. Meaning you could put a premium 2013 cluster in a 14, 15, or 16 and everything works except tpms you can put a 2016 cluster in any 13 14 15 or 16 and everything would work in any of these except tpms on the 13

My truck is 2019 Classic with 25,3xx miles.

Just ordered from car-part.com a premium cluster from a 2019 Classic with 25,7xx miles.

Looking forward to making the change.

Also, this thread had over 90 pages, now is 37 pages. What happened?

25,721 mile cluster from car-part.com was delivered today. As of delivery time my truck had 25,689 miles. Drove 32 miles and changed out cluster. I feel like a 73 year old kid with a new toy. I tried to attach photos of new and old clusters, but can't figure out how.

Here are the photos I took. What is the section on the right within the tach used for?9c90c24525b7c38f0821a49c02773694.jpg1d78464ff27038fb34deaf757518ac60.jpg

That is you guage setup menu plus the way you scroll to different screens. The 7" cluster has many options for different screen layouts. It's controlled by the arrow buttons in the left steering wheel switch. If you have an owners manual it should be explained in it as well.

Thanks. Scrolling thru the menu was similar to the old cluster, just with more options. The information within the tach didn't seem to be helpful for that purpose. Thought I was missing something.

Hey everyone, I completed this swap about a year ago. Only issue I’m seeming to have is when I enter the truck after leaving it off for a while, it always default boots to the engine temperature, oil pressure etc. menu.

If I turn the truck off and come back to it within the hour it will boot back to the last menu I switched to. So I’ve narrowed down that this will only happen if the truck is off for 24 hours or more.

Can anyone make any suggestions?

I need some help.2013 Ram 2500 6.7 I just swapped out clusters to the 7”. I’ve got my hours changed correctly but when I try to change mileage with Alfa it goes through the whole process says completed but nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

also now I have a “service tire pressure system” message. What do I do to correct that?

Mileage correction has been buggy. Try using the 3.5 inch option.

As far as tpms, if you didn't use a 2013 cluster then it won't read and possibly give the error. 2 options - get a 2013 cluster to retain the tpms function or turn off the tpms system. I forget what needs to be changed in alfaobd to do it
