View attachment 21629 I'll be doing this sometime this week. What does everyone think, keep or loose the hemi badge on the fender?

MotoX

Hemi badge was the hardest one to remove from the side IMO. I still have it on the driver's side because it's been to cold to attempt to remove it.

I just pulled the RAM and 1500 badges off the doors of my express yesterday. I chose to leave the Hemi badges. With everything on there it was way too much badging on a single cab. Looked very busy! Once I pulled off the RAM/1500 I liked the look of just the Hemi badge a lot. I had to use a heat gun to help out since it was about 30 degrees here but it worked out great! I'll get a polish and wax one it and you'll never be able to tell there was anything there. :head3:
Although, I did park next to a challenger with the black simple Hemi badge and I really liked the look of that...

Did mine, left hemi badge, I love it.

Fishing line, 45 degree angle method for removing glue, turtle wax, bug and tar remover, and a polish with my buffer.

I think this single thread has brought more people into Ram Forum and Modding their trucks more than anything else.

That's probably pretty true. It's one of the first things I used the forum for.

Going to get rid of the "ram 1500" and the " big horn" logos this weekend.... I like the hemi and 4x4 ones but will see after this weekend.

Damn....took of the "big horn" label bit damn sticky stuff is hard to do. Can I use too gone, or some acetone to remove it? That's what I have at home.... don't mind going out and picking something else up to remove the tape, just wanted to see if acetone ore too gone will remove it.

Fishing line, gently pulling the edge of adhesive, Goo Gone, polish and wax.. Worked like a charm! Looks soo much better.
Thanks for the tip.

I used goof off not goo gone. It worked good. I wouldn't recommend acetone, would be way to paranoid about the paint but I bet it would work great.

I couldn't find any info on here but incase anyone is curious the outdoorsman logo on a 2012 came right off too, no pins

What about the new 2500 tailgate ram badge?

So there are a ton of 1500 examples on here, but has anyone tried removing the RAM badge from the tailgate of a 2014 2500? It doesn't look like the indent in the panel is there that you usually see on the 1500's, but what about the pins? And holes that could possibly remain?

The tailgate badge has holes for prongs in it. If you remove the rear badge you will have holes showing.

Only way around this is to have the tailgate shaved and filled to cover the holes.
