How to debadge... The right way!

I can't find naphtha anywhere where I live. Would TSP work just as good to clean off the tape? Or another paint thinner? Or should I just get goof off?

I used goof off which worked fast. I had used a heat gun to debadge, so there wasn't a lot of residue left.

Just did my 2010 last week. 3 came right off except for the chrome spears. Because of all the dirt and debris in there, I had to use a eraser wheel to get some of the stiffer pieces that didn't want to come off.

Did my 2012 last week using this method, went great. Had to use some goo gone to remove some residue and then meguairs scratchX to clear up ghosting. I'm figuring the ghosting was because i have had the truck for over a year before i debadged

Hair dryer and goo gone. Newer the better so the glue don't stick to hard.

Just did my 2012 R/T used 3m adhesive remover and swirl remover to clean up the ghosting.

Naptha isn't required, it's just what I like to use. If you need some, lowes and home depot have the metal square paint tins in/near the paint isle.

it was a ***** but 1 side is done. I think I'm just taking the RAM1500 off and leaving the 4x4 and Hemi logos but heres b4 and after. Had to go to 5 stores to find goo gone. Put a little wax on it afterwards so I hop all will be ok with the paint.

Bought some cheap 30# fishing line at walmart and some goof off. Easy as pie. I was actually kind nervous after totally killing my paint being impatient debadging my motorcycle, this one (also maybe because it's new) was a piece of cake with patience and pulling at the 45 deg angle.
