You're way ahead of the game if you bought it for $380. A new screen will run you $100 to $170 dollars ordered from China. Probably easy to sell the screen too if it doesn't work. You'll want to do it soon if you are still in the return window.
@Mpgrimm2 's firmware thread has version 22.6 for your radio. In two UASs I flashed, the upgrade to 22.6 fixed the notifications volume.I am trying to see if there has been a software update for my 2018 Ram UAQ radio that I have installed in my 2017 Ram 2500. The only issue I have with the radio is the common problem where the text message notifications & the voice recognition volume are very loud and when you try to lower the volume it reverts back to the same volume. My radio was bought brand new so I'm nervous to brick it but was wondering how I can even update it since my truck didn't come factory with it but the radio was brand new when I installed it. I'll add a picture of what version it's running, I've never updated it as I don't know how to or where I could get an update without being able to use my Vin since it's not factory.

I was actually able to convince the salvage yard to return my money because the screen was in such bad shape when I got it.
If you post here where you bought it im sure someone would love to buy it.
The place had it posted back for sale for more than what I paid for it immediately without any mention of it being inoperable. I highly doubt it magically fixed itself in transit back.
