How To install a steering damper shock on 2wd 98 Ram

HI, I have a 98 SS/T and I wanted to install a Rancho steering shock on my truck to tighten things up a little. But when I go to look for the factory one, there doesn't seem to be one. I know on 4wd truck it sits above the tracking bar connecting to the pitman arm etc...

They sell them for my truck so I'm a little confused. Can someone help me out with this. Thanks

i have a 2wd too, and im pretty sure they don't have one cause mine doesn't either.
