How to securely attach hood emblem

Hey y'all,
My dodge hood emblem broke off today, one of the spikes snapped off. I don't really want to buy a new one because its in decent shape otherwise and they are expensive. Has anyone had success sticking these on with some kind of adhesive, if so, what kind?

3M makes double sided tape that's used for a lot of trim

It works great so far. Gave it a fresh coat of black paint while I was at it.
