How to tell if my mirrors have a temp sensor in them?

Ok so i want to order these mirrors for my truck. They come pre-painted for this price and that is an insanely good deal. Ive been wanting paint matched mirrors and used OEM ones are $300-$400, so this is a good alternative.

But the description says that if my truck has the temp sensor in the mirror then ill have a CEL with these new mirrors.

How do i tell where the temp sensor is on my truck? My dash does tell me the outside temp but i thought my sensor was in the front grille area.

BTW, my truck is a 2012 1500 ST.

13+ Truck have them in the under side of the drivers side mirror. You have a 12 so yours should be behind the grill I think..... but I know it's not in your mirror.

If your truck is a 2012 you should be fine. They started putting the temp sensor in the driver's side mirror in 2013.
