There was another thread I read here complaining about Sirius radio and transistor radio sound.I agree with you.Mine is the same,on my 2023 Ram Classic,Alpine 8.4 inch unit. .The solution was to listen on the radio from the Sirius App.The sound from that source is much better. It has to do with the #of bits of data. The App. has more bits of information.

The JBL Club are 3 ohm speakers (as opposed to 4) and might be the best solution. Who knows???
I replaced my speakers in my 9 speaker alpine in my 23 1500 with the JBL and it was okay, but then I returned those and got CDT speakers all around and the sound is great, Super clear. I posted my experience in a threads, just search on CDT.

Your sound is not going to be good unless you get rid of the Alpine speakers, they are terrible.

And, I went with 4 ohm even though its a 2 ohm system and its fine.

Ya ya ya... that was me. This is way more than just that difference. My issue is definitely NOT related to the Sirius XM signal (maybe what my truck is doing with it). Sirius was perfectly fine for me in my 2014 Ram and my wife's 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Just an update... it went to the dealer for testing (Star Case open) with engineering looking at readings and some video they do. That was two weeks ago. Now they want it back to do the same testing again, but listening to "Rap Music".

This is getting ridiculous. My truck is a year old tomorrow and I've been dealing with this issue the entire time.

They either need to replace EVERYTHING or get the "engineers" here to listen and diagnose in person.

So I took my truck to a different dealer on Wednesday... I've had this issue since buying the truck over a year ago (October 20, 2023).
They could definitely hear the issue... there are no radio/software updates available. MANY of their customers are waiting on radio updates for a variety of issues (this must be a HUGE issue).

In any case, they seem to have fixed the issue with my lack of volume from the rear speakers. As a last ditch effort the tech hooked into the system and did a "hard reset" on the radio. He assured me this is NOT the same as what we can do (as users) from the 12" screen.

I know have more volume and clarity from the rear door and headliner speakers (meaning rear seat passengers can now hear output from those speakers). I can also fade to the rear a few notches and get the balance.

@RamCares WHY DID THIS TAKE A YEAR TO FIX?? Are you outsourcing to India??

I am a relieved, but the audio quality of this system absolutely sucks compared to my older Mopar vehicles. It doesn't hold a candle to the systems in either my 2014 Ram Laramie (Alpine) or my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Stellantis is ruining the Ram/Jeep brands.

I will begin replacing speakers on my $75,000 "Limited" as many have done. If that doesn't do the trick, I'll replace the amp as well.

This has been an utterly ridiculous endeavor.

When did this bad update happen?

My radio is running the same software as when i bought it (from early 2023).

Stellantis is so worried about killing the internal combustion engine that they've lost sight of the real goal. A big part of Europe is going down the woke, "government is in complete control" path that the US just rejected on November 5.

They had better change direction before Ram owners reject them in a similar fashion.
