Ignition Power

Hi,

I am trying to tap my halos into the ignition so when I turn my truck on the halos turn on automatically. Can someone tell me whats the best way to tap into a ignition power without going through the firewall?

Not sure about 4th gens but 3rd gens have a fuse for the cig lighter under the hood. It turns on with the ignition.

There might not be a cigarette lighter fuse on your model but there should be a key on ignition fuse/wire on the fuse box.

thats what I'm trying to do is tap into the cigarette lighter fuse but I dont know which fuse it is? :s

There might be an ignition fuse or wire. You may have to use a test light probe and a extra person to help you find it. If there is one I would definitely use a relay.

just open the center console up and tap off the wire going to the cig lighter. Alot easier
