Except for routine maintenance, my 2005 has been flawless. It currently has 141k miles and it still runs strong. My 2018 runs great as well.

Hey everyone thank y’all for the advice and feedback. It will be December before we purchase. We are going to add it to the list of 3 which will include a Chevy/GMC, a Ford (only because her brother drives a Ford), and a Ram which is all I want to look at. If I purchase a Ram I’ll post pictures here. If I get a ford send the ***** wagon as I’ve probably gone mad.

I have an 18 Ram express 3,6 with a 166,00miles on it. Only problem I've had is to replace windshield washer motor. So far a very dependable truck. I do courier work. Been out of work since 3/1/20 due to health issues. Other wise it would be alot higher milage. No need for a hemi. No heavy towing.Love this truck

Have her drive all of them, go to Chevy first then take her to the Ford, that oughta get a nice foul taste in her mouth kinda like a little bit of throw-up, by the time she drives the Ram she’ll be sold. And I’ve owned 3 Jeep Wrangler’s a YJ, 2 TJ’s an 04 WJ which we still have, a 2011 Wk2, our current 14 Wk2, a 96 1500 Dodge, a 99 2500 dodge and my current 12 Power Wagon. Only owned 2 Ford’s an Escort for a winter beater and I couldn’t kill it. A 2010 Mustang GT premium that I throttled the hell out of. So I can only say get the Ram she’ll be happy and by proxy so will you. Look at a 2500 while your there I’m a little more partial to a solid axle truck.

I like the 2500’s especially the Power Wagon, I just don’t think I could afford one. Especially how I’d want it equipped.

I had leased seven F150 XLT's over 20 years, but in 2015 I got a Ram 1500 Big Horn. First time my wife was in the Ram, about 3 minutes into the ride she turns to me and says, "Wow, this truck really rides a lot smoother than your last one. A lot quieter too."

After driving it for a while I realized she was right. I also realized it had more comfortable seats, a nicer interior, a better sound system/display screen, smaller turning diameter, better gas mileage, better controls, more features for the money, easier to see the road, etc. etc.

I was a die-hard Ford truck fan but I could never go back now.

Well it’s been a while since this post but we finally joined the 4th Gen Family. Gotta 2017 1500 Express Crew Cab 4wd with the V6. Didn’t have to drive another make. Set the target squarely on this one. And after my wife did her own research on reliability and to quote her “They are as reliable as my Subaru” we pulled the trigger. Now just gotta figure out what my first mod or addition will be. 2745F969-16BB-4595-8E8B-6D072FC6E3BD.jpeg

Congrats on the truck, looks really clean. 2017 was a good Ram year (I might be biased though...)

Looks like a good truck, and you almost never hear anything bad about the 3.6 .

Stay up to date on that transmission maintenance, Ram says lifetime but there's no such thing as lifetime transmission fluid :D unless you want 150k-200k to be the lifetime.
