This is a definite possibility. Tire ratings, axle ratings, door stickers and weight ratings in general are a big deal with commercial hauling. I've had some friends in the biz and weight/tires/axles/door stickers are about 90% of the rules. How much weight on the axles and what are the axle/tire/vehicle ratings. Of course, this is private but the people enforcing the rules/laws are used to commercial and they're likely to be sticklers.It could be the load index on the 265/70R17 was lower then factory equipped tires.
