Boy somebody has OCD

I wouldn't say that, he is spot on.

Mid-ranges are not a compliment they are part of a 3way set. For example - the mid plays 60-400, the mid range 400-3500 and the tweeter 3500+. That is a complete set.

Adding a mid-range to a current 2 way set is just overlapping, and I wouldn't say they compliment. You would have a mid 60-3000, tweeter 3000+ and then add in midrange that plays frequencies of both the mid-range and tweeter... and now we are getting sloppy with the sound.

I have MDF templates I made from my factory 6x9s tha I used to make acrylic adapters. About 1/4” thick router out the focals’ dimensions and mount. I couldn’t find any brackets that were worth buying.
If you do get them you’ll want a nice baffle like that for them to mount to so you get everything out of them and sound treat doors really good so it all goes into the cabin
