Stumbled on this on a Mopar page...seems some of the goodies on the Hellcat TRX that's coming are already available and made for the current hemis....this one a more of a cold air box.

Looks like the 18" bead locks will be available soon as well.

Wonder if that could be adapted to the 4th Gens?

Looks like Vararam is getting some serious validation by FCA.

i just read it will be 900-1000 dollars US and Mopar is not claiming it gives any performance gain.

I would imagine that it works in concert with the other mods it mentioned, on an otherwise bone stock motor it probably doesn’t make much difference over the existing cold air box system. Actually in most applications that’s how all of the intakes work, claims of increased horse power without the other mods are usually BS.

It might be like how the 4th gen with single side exhaust is rated 395hp and the same truck with the dual exhaust is rated 395hp . I don't know that anyone has dyno'd them back to back, but Mopar offers the dual exhaust as an upgrade and doesn't talk about performance either just sound.

Aren't both exhaust systems the same exept for the tailpipe? It's not true dual exhaust but single back to the muffler then split for looks.

Yessir....all are single exhaust on the current crop, just split on certain models for dual exit.

those hp/tq numbers are on an engine dyno, not a chassis dyno. i’d bet neither full exhaust system is used to achieve the numbers.
they leave it to the end user to chassis dyno cuz different types of chassis dyno’s will show hugely different numbers on the same exact vehicle.
