Hey guys. New guy here. Name's Mike. Just bought my '03 5.9 Found it at my local Saab dealer about to be sent off to auction. It's a little rough around the edges but it's a work in progress. Got the dealer down a bit since the radio had been stolen on the lot and the left windows were jacked up. It was painted by the previous owner; a black with subtle purple/blue pearl. I plan to repaint the hood soon since it's started to peel, but the rest it good enough for a daily driver/work truck. I've already dropped in a Pioneer double din radio and new front speakers. Going to be doing some 3.5s in the dash and redoing the alarm, building a fiberglass sub box and running all my amps. It's a work in progress.
I've been installing professionally for 13 years for a couple custom shops in Memphis. I'm one of two MECP Master Certified installers in Memphis. I tutored the other one. I'll likely keep my eyes on the interior and audio sections as that's where I have the most expertise. I look forward to learning more about my truck from y'all, and teaching what y'all may need.
