Hey guys, I was wondering if you guys have had the same experience as I did with the tuner. I only ran it for 10km so far (pretty much just to see the improvements)

So I just installed my Intune on 87 canned tune from Diablo. Prior mods are Vararam and Catch Can. I noticed better throttle response but that's about it. I have a 2013 Sport CC with 6.5" bed, 6spd, 3.92 gears.

I notice a pretty good improvement when I installed the vararam but honestly, I'm pretty disappointed with the Intune. Should I expect it to get better or should I only consider the HemiFever tune?

I run the canned 91 tune and it does seem to make a bit of difference, but not as good as I had hoped. Honestly, the Vararam and higher flow exhaust made a lot more difference to me. Also, for the money, my favorite mod has been in my Sonnax stage 2 booster. Quicker and much firmer shifts for around $40. Truck now breaks both rear tires loose at 55-60mph on 1-2 shifts and pulls your head back on 2-2P and 2P-3 shifts at 100mph. Going with a Hemifever or Greene tune soon and am hoping for a lot more than the canned tunes seem to offer.

Diablo's tuning is very conservative. If you want to see the full potential of your mods, then custom tuning is what you need.

I ordered it off of the net for $41 and free ship. Looks like Summit may be the cheapest right now at $45.97? Try Google shopping search for "sonnax 44957". Good luck!

Looked up the sonnax and it didn't have the 65RFE listed. Will it work on my 65RFE?

X2...I had a custom tune on my 2007 MegaCab 5.7L and it was night and day compared to the canned tune.

I just called them and left a message with their tech support to see if it will work on the 65RFE

How hard is it to install? Never really looked into this kind of mod and am wondering what's involved before going ahead.

Easiest mod that you will EVER do! It took me about 1 minute in the parking lot on lunch break at my job. Unplug the plug in on the side on the trans on passenger side, plug in the Sonnax Booster, plug the trans plug into the other end of the Sonnax, and take it for a gentle stroll. Light gas and let it shift to relearn. I did maybe 6 or so start and let it shift then stop and repeat. After it started feeling more fluid on shifting, I hit it and she squalked both rear tires on the 1-2 shift at almost 60 mph for the first time ever. Awesome mod IMO.
