Honestly, it only adds about 50lbs of weight. As far as aerodynamics, my truck doesn't go fast enough for it to be a variable.

With 4x4 and 3.92, my truck is already thirsty. I have not noticed it get any thirstier. So, considering that, I will have to say I did not notice any change in mpg or even driving characteristics.

Plus, I have a medium to heavy foot..... MPG isn't something I consider too often. Only when I am on empty lol! Then, once I fill up, I forget about mpg again.
