Hello All - I am new here, but you will satrt seeing a lot of me!

I have a 2005 ST, and I believe it has been lifted, but I am nto 100% sure. Currently, I have the 17in rim sporting the 265/70 tires. The top of my wheel well in the front is 37 inches from the ground and in the back it is 41 inches from the ground. My side clearance currently sits at 18 inches above ground.

Can someone tell me if this is lifted, and if so, by how much? I looked under the bed but only noticed a leaf spring. I am completely new to this and I am looking forward to learning.

Also, I am planning on making this my primary family travel vehicle. Right now, the vehicle feels too unstable for too much interstate driving. Is this because of the lift or possibilities of almost anything? It has SportKing Radial Steel tires, but they will be replaced soon.

I have nop pics, but I will work on that soon as this project progresses.

Thank You All

What do you mean by unstable? My 06 single cab short box has the same size rims n tires and she runs great at 70mph. Im waiting for some extra money to replace my shocks (bilstiens to level ofc) but other than that its comftorble. Ill get some measurements in a lil while and see how they compare. Mine is not lifted.

When I am driving 70+ mph, it just feels like it is all over the road. It might be my tire wear and/or inflation. I did find out this week that it is not jacked up, that it is the normal height.

I am actually looking at new 20in wheels. My tires do need to be replaced, and one of my rims broke a few years back. So, instead of trying to make sure everything matches on the one, I am just replacing the set.

One thing I can say about those Steel Radial, it last through a cinder block that destroyed a rim.

Thank you for the response

Well first check your tire tread to see if its wavy or bumpy anywhere. Look straight at the tread.pattern next to a flat surface and you should be able to tell. If they all look good but while driving it seems sloppy it could be bushings going bad causing a bit of play. Im no expert by any means but ive heard that affecting other trucks before. Good luck!
