I had the update on my 3500 Ram 6.7 and now have been told the SCR and Nox Sensors have to be replaced.
I bought the truck brand new 2014 and have never had any issues with this vehicle i.e. dealer maintained, always garaged, etc.
Now I am being told it is out of service/use at the dealer because it will derate and shutdown, parts are on National Back Order with no eta.
Don’t do the update!
THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM AND WILL RUIN YOUR ENGINE!

so what does parts going bad have to do with the recall? How many miles on the truck and what kind of use does it see?
I'm guessing your more furiated with the truck being out of commission due to lack of parts than anything else.

The extended warranty coverage for the emissions system from the 67A recall will cover the parts you are referring to. You should have received a copy of the extended warranty from Cummins.
