Is my transmission pan legit?

I want to do an early preventative transmission fluid change as I'm a mildly crazy person. On my 1500, I took a chance on a no-name ebay pan for $25. Don't know how well that is going to work out since I sold it. Would like to get something legit for the 2500 since I will be towing quite a bit more weight. I ordered another pan off ebay using the Mopar part number with the thought I would just claim it as the wrong product on ebay if it wasn't OEM as it said. It was only $100 vs close to $300 to order a Mopar one. I was a little sad I will have to transfer over the magnets, but the stampings sure like what I would expect from OEM, or else they went through a lot of work to copy it. Thoughts?

They're all the same.

I went with the PPE aluminum pan on my last truck. Not only does it have a drain, but the drain plug is also the magnet. Worth the extra coin in my opinion.

As stated,i'd go with the PPE pan Joe,especially if you're towing,it holds 2 more quarts of fluid.If the pan fits a 8HP70,it'll also fit your 8HP75

I used a V6 pan on my 1500, so I know they are basically the same pan. That one did not have the Filtran marks on it, so I know it was definitely aftermarket. I was hoping I got a good deal on a OEM and hoping anyone could confirm or deny based on the photos.

I also wonder if there is any difference in the filter media. I've never compared one transmission filter to another so I don't know if they are all the same or if they are like oil filters where there is a range of different media and flow rates.

I have nothing against the PPE pan (other than price) but I am sticking with OEM-style pan, at least until warranties are up.
