Is there a "certified air suspension technician"?

The compressor will blow the fuse if it runs to long. Do you park your truck in a heated garage ?
The truck lives outside. The garage is full of other cars.

UPDATE TO THE STORY: The truck seems to be all fixed. I brought it home last night (Jan 16). I took it to Keller Dodge Ram in Lititz PA. They were my original selling dealer. Great people. They say they found some moisture in the air suspension line and a service bulletin from RAM regarding the issue and the procedure to fix it. They fixed the problem, then tested the air ride several times on very cold mornings and warm afternoons for about a week. I got the truck home just in time for our area to get a few inches of snow tomorrow. Life is good again. Thanks to everyone for your helpful suggestions and guidance. You're a great group of people.

There’s several TSBs for air suspension issues. The one he’s referring to has to do with the compressor fuse blowing. If it’s blown, they recommend to replace the fuse and fill and empty the system twice.

I’ve done the same procedure a few times already the last week, except when we do it we put the system under a vacuum for 20-30 minutes to help get any moisture out.

Thanks for info. I was hoping there was a tsb that mentioned the brake line antifreeze. I was reading a thread where all of the guys in Canada were getting it done. I recently got a selected ride high not available message but it cleared and never came back since. It was a cold morning so I was thinking that might have something to do with it. Never got an error before or since.

NEW UPDATE... On Monday morning Jan 20 I got in the truck. Overnight it had lowered itself all the way down. I looked at the ride height buttons and it showed normal ride height. I press the button to raise the truck to off-road-1. The lights blinked but the truck did not move. I waited a few minutes, no movement. I press the button for normal ride height, the lights blinked for normal height but didn't move. A minute later the error message came up "Service Air Suspension Immediately". I shut off the truck, checked the fuse, it was GOOD. No blown fuse. Tow truck came and took my truck off to the dealer for a second round of repair. Fingers crossed.

The service ticket from the first repair says "Code C15A100 Star Case S1723000007 Moisture in Air Ride Suspension. Purged air ride system with nitrogen as per star case. Filled system to spec, Checked air mass at shocks & reservoir. OK. Leak test OK. Clear codes."

Probably have a leak somewhere. The rear bags are a common spot. If no leaks then likely the valve block or compressor.

I’ll second that. It’s nice that they used nitrogen so that because of it’s bigger molecules, it won’t seep through like air does but still, over time you’ll develop cracks in that rubber that’ll leak anything.

Hey Steven, I'm very sorry to hear that you are experiencing this concern again. I just had a chance to follow up with your most recent PM, please take a moment to view that and follow up with me when you can.

For those of you following along at home, here's an update on the situation...

@RamCares has been very helpful in opening a case for me. I've spoken to the case specialist a few times. They have been in touch with the dealer a few times. Everyone is working together to determine the failure point and the correct fix. The dealer tells me there are some stored codes for the failures that hopefully will point to the failed parts. I miss my truck, but so far it looks like a great team effort to get the problem corrected. In the meantime, I stuck driving my 2019 Dodge Challenger Redeye Widebody. It can't haul the tools I use, but is sure hauls a$$. More updates to follow.

Jeeeesus Murphy that's an awesome loaner car! I wouldn't mind my ram going in for some long warranty work this summer if I could get a loaner like that!

Hope they get it figured out for you in a timely fashion though.

Lol I don’t think it’s a loaner, pretty sure he owns it.

Yes I own it, plus a 1970 Challenger R/T. That will come out of the garage when it gets warmer. Both Challengers are Plum Crazy purple. Mopar or no car!!!

Air suspensions can be tricky things and one person can have no problems and another can have all kinds of problems. Had a couple vehicles with them, two had problems and they all traced back to moisture in the system. It doesn't even need to get that cold outside, it's a matter of dropping temperatures and the ability of air to hold moisture. For example, if it's 45 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and drops down to 30 at night the amount of moisture that can be suspended in the atmosphere is cut in half. This plays havoc with any system that requires the control of air pressure, you can get freezing or other issues related to condensation that cause valves to not work correctly and overwork your pump. That's possibly why the fuse blew the first time. Good luck with the fix.

So here's the latest (and maybe final) update...

The truck is home. It came home yesterday (Feb 20). Dealer says it's fixed. My testing shows it's fixed. I'm hoping it's fixed. The air problem was mostly when it was very cold outside. Last night it went down to 15 degrees. This morning I started the truck and it raised and lowered like it should. So I'm hopeful it all fixed. I spoke to the tech at the dealer who worked on the truck. He told me he pulled a vacuum on the system, dried out any chance of moisture in the lines, charged with nitrogen, worked with an engineer at RAM to do some other procedures, made sure there were no sticking valves, and a lot more work. All covered by warranty. @RamCares and Keller Bros Ram in Lititz PA both did a great job, they stuck with the problem, and never gave up. Keeping fingers crossed it's all fixed for good now.

Thanks for following along and for everyone's helpful suggestions. You are a great community.

Glad it's fixed and hope it stays that way.

Also, I've always childishly loved the name of that town (have passed through there a few times)
