Is there a way to add zoom to backup camera?

Hi I have the 2019 classic Ram 1500 Big HornUconnect 4c radio I noticed that there is no option to zoom backup camera over the Hitch for lining up my trailer is there any way to add this ? Thanks for the help

On MY 19 DT Truck, when rear camera on, I hit an Icon in the top left upper corner of the Uconnect screen X and this Zooms in over the bumper. U hit the - upper left to go back to normal pic...

I can also go into uconnect when driving and turn on back up camera and it stays on like 5 seconds unless U R under like 7 MPH. U would have to read yer manual on the exact times.

Now what I do not know if the specifics on yer system as depends upon which 8.4 radio U have.. This is what I have.....

My 2017 doesn't have zoom either, but that is a cool feature

The zoom feature is only on the new 2019 5th gen DT rams. Same with the center line, since the new camera location is in the center of the tailgate handle instead of off to the side. Yours is a classic, so same features as 2013-2018, and won’t have those features.

Oh well, I tried to be informative. MY 15 ED that I had, had the marked lines on the side, not remember on the middle line or not. Senility and dementia always wins out. LOL

That is a new 2019 feature that wasn't available when my 2017 was built.

you need zoom to connect your trailer? not trying to insult you, so i apologize in advance.
but personally, if anyone "needs" a camera to back up and connect a trailer, they shouldn't be hauling a trailer.
my dad taught me when i was 6 or 7, to back into the trailer when we were hauling firewood. i can back within an inch of the ball and coupler lining up.
only my last 2 vehicles have had a camera, its nice, but i still back up old school with mirrors and judgement. old habits are hard to break

^^I get that, but stuff still happens and everyone has “off” days. The zoom would be a nice feature. Guess FCA puts some thought into the DT! No one likes having a dented bumper or a punched out license plate.
Before I installed my camera, I used the FORCE as I called it...but I have had a CDL for 25years and that makes backing the Ram much easier.

I think the zoom feature would be a plus for that Ooops moment ! Less chance of damaging the truck ! FYI most people who do pull a trailer only do it sometimes and are not perfect like some may be! I bet even the perfect drivers have a oops moment lol
